Lunch date: Gracias Madre
The food was eaten so fast that I failed to take any pictures of it. We shared the Quesadilla appetizer with fresh sweet potatoes. For our entree, we shared the veggie taco plate that accompanied rice & beans with the mushrooms and steamed greens. It made 2 tacos for each of us. I got the fresh coconut water and my boyfriend got the grapefruit juice. Both of us were happy with our drinks and sharing these two plates. SO FULL! No room for dessert and I know everyone says they have the best desserts. We also got a side of guac and crema (the cashew cheese) for our taco plate. Even with sharing an entree we paid about 25 dollars each (with tip) because of the sides and the 5 dollar per beverage. But we were both very satisfied. The manager came (I assume that was his position) and explained they owned some farm land, everything was organic, and everything was vegan. It was a very nice experience, just not some where I’d go on a whim.
